12. Recommended by Water System Approval of Amendment No. 2 to Agreement No. 47879 with Black & Veatch Corporation for the North Haiwee Dam Seismic Improvement Project. The not to exceed amount of $12,000,000, will remain the same. Determine item is in compliance with CEQA Guidelines Section 15080-15097 (Environmental Impact Report previously adopted). City Council approval is required in accordance with Charter Section 373.
13. Recommended by Water System Approval of Lease No. 1547 with High Country Lumber, Inc. LADWP evaluated and determined the rental charge in accordance with market rates for commercial property in Bishop, California, on September 16, 2025. The Lease will generate an initial monthly base rental income of $5,430, for an estimated income of $325,800, during the five-year Lease term. There is no expense to LADWP other than the administrative cost of processing the Lease. Determine item is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301.
14. Recommended by Water System Approval of Multi-Project - Project Labor Agreement (PLA). LADWP works with the Bureau of Contract Administration (BCA) pursuant to a five-year Memorandum of Understanding under which the BCA monitors PLA labor compliance on LADWP construction contracts. Determine item is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15060(c)(3).
15. Recommended by Water System Approval of Water Supply Assessment (WSA) – Los Angeles County General Hospital Campus Community Plan. The County of Los Angeles paid $22,000, to cover LADWP’s expenses for preparation of this WSA. Determine item is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15060(c)(2).

3. CONFERENCEWITHREALPROPERTYNEGOTIATORS (Section 54956.8 of the California Government Code) concerning the price and terms for the potential purchase of real property located at: 865 S. Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, California 90017. Property Owner: Hancock S-REIT LA Corp. LADWP Real Property Negotiators: David W. Hanson, Senior Assistant General Manager – Power System; Adriana Rubalcava, Director of Real Estate; Rebecca Lobos, Property Manager; Andrew Harper, Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. Negotiating Parties: Hancock S-REIT LA Corp. and City of Los Angeles, Department of Water and Power. The Board shall publicly report any action taken in closed session and the vote or abstention of every member present thereon, in accordance with Section 54957.1 of the California Government Code.
