1. Recommendation for approval of the minutes of the November 14, 2023, Regular Board Meeting of the Board of Water and Power Commissioners.

1. Recommended by Office of the Chief Operating Officer Approval of the Memorandum of Understanding Between the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and the City of Los Angeles Department of Public Works, Bureau of Contract Administration. The MOU is for a term of five years and an amount not to exceed $8,937,263. Determine item is exempt pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines Section 15060(c)(3).
2. Recommended by Office of the City Attorney for Water and Power Approval of the Agreement No. 47815-4 between the City of Los Angeles, Acting by and through the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, and Saul Ewing, LLP for Outside Counsel Legal Services for Labor and Employment Law related advice, investigations and litigation. The Agreement is for a term of fifteen months and an amount not to exceed $585,000. Determine item is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3).
3. Recommended by Office of the City Attorney for Water and Power Approval of First Amendment to Agreement No. 47735-3 between the City of Los Angeles, Acting by and through the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and Ford & Harrison LLP to assist with legal services relating to labor and employment law matters for an additional $63,000, amending the amount not to exceed $1,817,000. Recommended by Power System Approval of Contract Nos. 429A, 429B, 429C, 429D, and 429E to Furnish and Deliver Utility and Material Handling Equipment on a Fully-Maintained, As-Needed, Bare Rental Basis with Global Rental Co.; Herc Rentals, Inc.; United Rentals (North America), Inc.; Rig-Rents, Inc.; and Al Asher & Sons, Inc., Respectively. The Contracts will be for a term of three years and an amount not to exceed $47,014,706. Determine item is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15060(c)(3).
10. Recommended by Power System Approval of Amendment No. 1 to Agreement No. 47630 for Engineering Services for Life Management Programs for Heat Recovery Steam Generators and High Energy Piping Systems with Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. The Amendment will extend the Agreement by two years, for a total of five years. All other terms of the Agreement will remain unchanged.
