14. (Recommended by General Counsel Water and Power) (Approved by General Manager and Chief Engineer) Approval of Proposed First Amendment to Agreement No. 47518-9 between the City of Los Angeles, Department of Water and Power and the Law Firm of Everett Dorey to Provide Legal Advice and Representation for the Defense of Wildfire Matters. The Amendment will increase the amount by $1,250,000. All other terms remain the same. Determine item is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3).

15. The Board shall recess into closed session for a conference with legal counsel regarding:
A. Existing litigation in the following matters:
1. Jenny J. Robles v. Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, et al., Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 19STCV18195, pursuant to Section 54956.9(a) of the California Government Code.
2. Indian Harbor Insurance v. LADWP, Los Angeles Superior Court (LASC) Case No. 20STCV13851, related to BW Partners II v. LADWP, LASC Case No. 20STCV21439 (GETTY FIRE MATTERS), pursuant to Section 54956.9(a) of the California Government Code.
B. Anticipated litigation in the following matters:
1. Discussion regarding significant exposure to litigation (1 case), pursuant to Subdivision (b)(1) of Section 54956.9 of the California Government Code.
2. Discussion regarding initiation of litigation (1 case), pursuant to Subdivision (c) of Section 54956.9 of the California Government Code.
C. Conference with Labor Negotiators: Pursuant to California Government Code Section 54957.6, the Board will meet in closed session with the Department’s labor negotiators (the Department’s General Manager and Chief Engineer and Chief Human Resources Officer) concerning labor negotiations with: International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 18 Management Employees Association Non-Represented Managers
