14. (Recommended by Senior Assistant General Manager - External and Regulatory Affairs/Chief Sustainability Officer and Senior Assistant General Manager - Water System) (Approved by General Manager and Chief Engineer) Approval of Adoption of the City Trunk Line South Unit 5 Phase II and Unit 6 Mitigated Negative Declaration in Accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act. In accordance with CEQA Guidelines Sections 15070-15075, it was determined that the proposed Project would not have a significant effect on the environment with the incorporation of mitigation measures, and thus, the Initial Study/ Mitigated Negative Declaration has been prepared.

15. (Recommended by Senior Assistant General Manager - Water System) (Approved by General Manager and Chief Engineer) Approval of Water Supply Assessment - Spieker Senior Continuing Care Community Project located within the City of Los Angeles. Determine item is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15268(b)(4).

16. (Recommended by Personnel Relations Committee) Recommends that the Board approve the Personnel Relations Committee's Report for Grievance No. M-030-18 filed by Jon M. Crook.

17. (Recommended by Personnel Relations Committee) Recommends that the Board approve the Personnel Relations Committee's Report for Grievance No. B-100-18 filed by Hector Holguin.

18. The Board shall recess into closed session for a conference with legal counsel regarding:

A. Existing litigation in the following matters:

1. Rhonda Casper v. Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 19STCV28834, pursuant to Section 54956.9(a) of the California Government Code.

2. Antwon Jones v. City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. BC577267 (and designated related cases), pursuant to Section 54956.9(a) of the California Government Code.

3. In re Paul Oliva Paradis, United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Arizona, Case No. 2:20-bk-06724-MCW, pursuant to Section 54956.9(a) of the California Government Code.

4. In re Ardent Cyber Solutions, United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Arizona, Case No. 2:20-bk-06722-PS, pursuant to Section 54956.9(a) of the California Government Code.

B. Anticipated litigation in the following matters:

1. Discussion regarding significant exposure to litigation (2 cases), pursuant to Subdivision (b)(1) of Section 54956.9 of the California Government Code.

2. Discussion regarding initiation of litigation (2 cases), pursuant to Subdivision (c) of Section 54956.9 of the California Government Code.

C. Conference with Labor Negotiators: Pursuant to California Government Code Section 54957.6, the Board will meet in closed session with the Department’s labor negotiators (the Department’s General Manager and Chief Engineer and Chief Human Resources Officer) concerning labor negotiations with: International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 18 Management Employees Association Non-Represented Managers
