A. Existing litigation in the following matters:

1. Joseph Roy Lucero v. Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, Workers’ Compensation Claim No. 2010-0176; WCAB Case No. ADJ7128811, pursuant to Section 54956.9(a) of the California Government Code.

2. City of Los Angeles, acting by and through its Department of Water and Power v. County of Inyo, County of Inyo Board of Supervisors, Kern County Superior Court Case No. BCV-18-101513-KCT, pursuant to Section 54956.9(a) of the California Government Code.

3. Inyo County v. Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, Kern County Superior Court Case No. BCV-18-101260, BCV-18-101261, and BCV-18-101262, pursuant to Section 54956.9(a) of the California Government Code.

4. City of Los Angeles v. California Air Resources Board, et al., Superior Court of the State of California, County of Sacramento, Case No. 34-2013-80001451-CU-WM-GDS, pursuant to Section 54956.9(a) of the California Government Code.

5. County of Mono v. City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, Alameda County Superior Court Case No. RG18923377, pursuant to Section 54956.9(a) of the California Government Code.

B. Anticipated litigation in the following matters:

1. Discussion regarding significant exposure to litigation (2 cases), including Claim No. 1047955 Ardent Cyber Solutions, pursuant to Subdivision (b)(1) of Section 54956.9 of the California Government Code.

2. Discussion regarding initiation of litigation (2 cases), pursuant to Subdivision (c) of Section 54956.9 of the California Government Code.

C. Conference with Labor Negotiators: Pursuant to California Government Code Section 54957.6, the Board will meet in closed session with the Department’s labor negotiators (the Department’s General Manager and Chief Engineer and Chief Human Resources Officer) concerning labor negotiations with: International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 18 Management Employees Association Non-Represented Managers

D. Consultation with General Manager and Chief Engineer of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (including security operations and infrastructure security) regarding security issues pertaining to the essential public services (water and electric service and security matters related thereto), pursuant to Section 54957(a) of the California Government Code.
