(Recommended by Senior Assistant General Manager – Power System Engineering, Planning, and Technical Services) (Approved by General Manager and Chief Engineer) Approval of Barren Ridge – Haskell Line 1 Upgrade Project Ordinance Requesting the Los Angeles City Council to Establish Design-Build Criteria Pursuant to Section 371(b) of the City Charter. In accordance with CEQA and the National Environmental Policy Act, LADWP along with its federal co-lead agencies, the United States Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management, prepared a joint Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report to evaluate and disclose the potential environmental impact associated with the construction and operation of the Barren Ridge Renewable Transmission Project. City Council approval is required.
