M. Discussion with Neighborhood Council Representatives Discussion with Neighborhood Council representatives on any Neighborhood Council Resolution or Community Impact Statement filed with the City Clerk which relate to any agenda item listed or being considered on this agenda for the Board.
N. Items for Approval The Board will consider items recommended for approval. Items which a Commissioner has requested pulled for discussion will generally be considered after the Management Reports and Filed Items.
1. Recommended by Office of the Chief Administrative Officer Approval of Contract No. 8013 for Construction of La Kretz Hollywood Community Center with Green Building Corporation. The Contract is for $14,916,000, with a 20 percent contingency of $2,983,200, for an amount not to exceed $17,899,200. Determine item is exempt pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Sections 15070-15075.
2. Recommended by Office of the Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer Approval of Memorandum of Agreement with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation for Forest Health Projects to Improve Watersheds and Reduce Emissions from High Intensity Wildfire in the Inyo National Forest. The overall cost of the new projects is approximately $17 Million. LADWP will fund up to $5 Million, in the estimated project costs for five years and is effective on the date it is executed. Determine item is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3).
3. Recommended by Power System Approval of Agreement Nos. 47932A and 47932B for Emissions Source Testing Services – Montrose Air Quality Services, LLC, and Alliance Technical Group, LLC, respectively. The Agreements are for a term of five years and an amount not to exceed of $5,000,000. Determine item is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15060(c)(3).
4. Recommended by Power System Approval of Customer Generation Interconnection Agreement with Ultramar Inc. and Air Products and Chemicals Inc. The Agreement is for a term of five years, with no significant anticipated net fiscal impact. Determine item is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15060(c)(2).
5. Recommended by Power System Approval of Contract No. 718 for Transformers, 34.4-kV, Three-Phase, Padmount, 1500-KVA and Above with Nexgen Power, Inc. The proposed Contract is for a period of one year with two one-year optional renewal periods. The total estimated expenditure is $19,644,867, with a not to exceed amount of $24,556,083. Determine item is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15060(c)(3).
