Recommended by Power System Approval of Utah Solar 1 Power Sales Agreement No. BP 25-017 and Utah Solar 1 Agency Agreement No. BP 25-018 between the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and the Southern California Public Power Authority. The Power Sales Agreement enables LADWP to purchase renewable energy from Southern California Public Power Authority for a 30-year term. The renewable energy generated by the Utah Solar 1 Power Sales Agreement is expected to increase LADWP’s renewable energy sales to all customers by approximately 3.8 percent. Determine item is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15060(c)(1). City Council approval by ordinance is required.
