1. Recommended by Office of the Chief Administrative Officer Approval of a Lease for a Customer Service Center Located at 1931 North Gaffey Street, Units F and G, San Pedro, California 90731 – LADWP File No. J-102071. The proposed Lease is for a term of ten years, with one five-year extension option and an amount not to exceed $3,240,000. The Lease will expire in August 2034. Determine item is exempt pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15060(c)(3). City Council approval is required.
2. Recommended by Office of the Chief Administrative Officer Approval of Quitclaim of Telephone Lines and Line of Poles Easement, LADWP File No. P-102026. There is no expiration date associated with this Quitclaim. Determine item is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3). City Council approval is required.
3. Recommended by Office of the Chief Administrative Officer Approval of First Amendment to Commercial Lease Agreement with REDS Holding & Development Inc. for LADWP’s Harbor Field Office Located at 796 W. 9th Street, San Pedro, California 90731 - LADWP File No. J-102459. The Lease Amendment is for a term of ten years, with a total estimated cost of $584,675.76. The Amendment will expire on August 31, 2034. Determine item is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15060(c)(3). City Council approval is required.
4. Recommended by Office of the Chief Administrative Officer Approval of License Agreement with Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority for Underground Water Pipelines in North Hollywood, California – LADWP Real Estate File No. W-101517-2. There is a one-time administrative fee of $1,500 due upon execution of this Agreement. The Agreement will expire in August 2028. Determine item is in compliance with CEQA Guidelines Sections 15070-15075.
5. Recommended by Office of the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Engineer Approval of Agreement No. 47851 for Organizational Design Consulting Services with Korn Ferry (US). The Agreement is for a term of eleven months, for an estimated expenditure of $418,000 plus up to $42,000 in travel expenses, for an amount not to exceed $460,000. The Agreement will expire in July 2025. Determine item is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15060(c)(3).
6. Recommended by Office of the Chief Operating Officer Approval of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with California State Coastal Conservancy for Additional Environmental Benefits. The proposed MOU is for a term of five years, and an amount not to exceed $15,000,000. The MOU will expire in August 2029. Determine item is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15060(c)(3).
7. Recommended by Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Approval to Establish Duties Description Records, Adopt the Salaries, and Amend the Annual Personnel Resolution for the Classes of Benefits Analyst and Senior Benefits Analyst. There is no expiration date associated with the establishment of this item for approval. Determine item is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15060(c)(3).
