O. Items for Approval

1. Recommended by Office of the Chief Operating Officer Approval of Agreement No. 47746B for Emergency Base Camp and Logistical Support Services on an As-Needed Basis – AFIMAC U.S., Inc., for a term of five years and an amount not to exceed $4,500,000. The Agreement will expire five years from the date of execution. Determine item is exempt pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15060(c)(3).

2. Recommended by Water System Approval of Cooperative Agreements with the California Department of Transportation for Stormwater Capture Park Projects. Determine item is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15070-1575.

3. Recommended by Water System Approval of Memorandum of Agreement Between the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, the Los Angeles Department of Public Works, Bureau of Engineering, and the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks for the Implementation of the Stormwater Capture Parks Program. Determine item is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15070-15075.

4. Recommended by Water System Approval of Use and Maintenance Agreements with the Los Angeles County Flood Control District for four Stormwater Capture Parks Projects. The Agreement will expire fifteen years from the date of execution. Determine item is exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15070-15075.

3. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – EXISTING LITIGATION (Section 54956.9(d)(1) of the California Government Code) Bridge Finance, LLC, a California limited liability company, Kanday, LLC, a California limited liability company, and Clone Goddess, Inc., a California corporation, Plaintiffs, v. Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and Does 1 through 20, inclusive, Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 22STCV26883.

4. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – EXISTING LITIGATION (Section 54956.9(d)(1) of the California Government Code) Kathleen A. Becker v. Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 23STCV08436. The Board shall publicly report any action taken in closed session and the vote or abstention of every member present thereon, in accordance with Section 54957.1 of the California Government Code.
